Full Time / 4a-2:30p (7on/7off)

Performs manual and automated routine blood tests, including blood types, antibody screens, crossmatches, antibody identification, and antigen typing. Prepares specimens for microscope examination. Operates laboratory equipment including instruments, centrifuges, incubators, and refrigerators. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.Familiar with standard laboratory concepts, practices, and procedures. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to Blood Bank General Supervisor and other Laboratory Leadership.

Education REQUIRED: Requires graduation from an accredited MLT/MT/MLS program and passing a national exam given by the Board of Registry of the American Society for Clinical Pathology (or equivalent).
