Job Description

The Data Alignment Manager oversees the integration of accrual data ('ad-hoc true up') with the IQVIA Forecasting offering to ensure accurate data is delivered for site payments. The manager is expected to implement new systems and process efficiencies to scale up operations & improved product.

The employee must be a Subject Matter Expert on the IQVIA proprietary systems required for payment generation. They must have end-to-end understanding of the data flows and system handoffs. They will lead discussion with IT groups and Payments groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate site payment data for all IQVIA studies, regardless of system used for payment (IQVIA CTMS or DrugDev).
  • Define, Enable & rollout the CTP forecasting interactions with the Ad-hoc True up analysis. Will need to establish a working process between 2 teams and how the forecasting team will use the ad-hoc true up analysis.
  • Lead & drive tech & process improvements that improve efficiencies and allow us to scale the throughput. Point of contact with IT. Sets expectations and deadlines with IT to ensure the expected efficiency is achieved on time.
  • Ensure consistency & best practice in process and approach for all IQVIA payment studies. Ensure team members are operating a consistent process.
  • Ensure project data is handed off clean & on time for 100% of studies.
  • Resolve issues on a small number of very large, complex projects ongoing projects. Project manage stakeholders involved in the process. Directly resolve EDC, contracting language or project issues as required.



Skills & Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience & significant working knowledge of IQVIA subject visit data flow systems: EDC, Data Warehouse (Data Factory), CTMS, DrugDev
  • 3-5 years' experience within a CRO site payments process. Significant experience across all aspects of the payment lifecycle: data setup, contract setup, system setup, payment generation, site-facing experience.
  • Delivers a clear message & clear goals to team, with proven results and proven buy-in from team members
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with understanding/ability of writing logic statements.
  • Ability to communicate complex project plans upwards with a simple messaging
  • Extremely process oriented - ability to step methodically through a business process or system process, and understand what is broken, the root cause, the corrective action and the preventative action
  • Drives change in processes, for the right reasons & rationale. Sets a fast pace and has a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence attending and hosting calls.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate & train others remotely (via teleconferencing).
