As a Chemist I here at the Honeywell, Bryan, Texas facility,you will employ your expertise of chemistry fundamentals and critical thinkingin a clean room environment, while adhering to safe working practice/protocolsto help Honeywell deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs ofour internal and external customers. You will work under direct/indirectsupervision and provide expert input to a highly driven team and collaboratewith cross-functional teams to ensure quality targets/goals are met. You willconduct analyses on advanced instrumentation (ICP-MS, IC, LPC, UV-Vis) tocertify quality specifications are met. You will be a part of a group of highlycommitted professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of ourprojects and programs.
Inthis second-shift role, you will contribute to the overall success of our plant,projects and programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform chemistry tests using Wet Lab techniques
- Run chemical analyses using advanced instrumentation
- Aid in the development of manufacturing procedures as needed
- Develop and validate quality control test methodologies using Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
- Provide technical expertise in analytical chemistry and instrument operation and maintenance-troubleshoot and maintain equipment as necessary
- Provide high-quality and timely analysis while adhering to all HSE protocols
- Escalation of critical, time-sensitive information
- Generate continuous improvement ideas

YOUMUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry orrelated science degree
- 1-2 years of experience working in achemical manufacturing environment

- Experience in a clean room laboratory
- Works under minimal supervision
- ICP-OES, ICP-MS, IC, LPC, UV-Vis experience
- Knowledge of the semiconductor industry
- Environmental laboratory testing
- Data Management/LIMS experience
- SOPrevision and generation experience
- Strongcritical thinking and problem-solving skills
