Responsibilities:

• Develop new and and improved products, technologies, and programs for Chem-Trend worldwide to meet customer demands in a rapid and timely manner.
• Provide technical support to all company departments including Sales, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Quality Control.
• Support the Sales team by attending product trials at customer sites.
• Assist manufacturing operations in the development and implementation of new or modified production methods to improve quality and increase manufacturing consistency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, polymer science, or related field; Master's degree in chemistry or related field, a plus.
• 2+ years of experience, including formulation.
• Working knowledge of surface chemistry, paints, inks, adhesives, or silicone chemistry preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software, electronic literature research and scientific software.
• Strong analytical, organization, decision-making, and communication skills.
