Biology/Microbiology Technician

Job Description:

• Responsible under general supervision or working independently, for sampling and/or testing of final products, water, and other samples (e.g., equipment sanitization rinses) in adherence to appropriate test procedures and specifications for microorganisms and endotoxins.
• Performs environmental monitoring, growth promotion, and other routine microbiological analyses.
• ssists in the investigation of lab issues as needed.
• B.S. in Microbiology or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a laboratory environment where aseptic technique is applied, college lab experience qualifies as experience.
